***SOLD***Benevente SCD 6 MIDI
Here we have a recent trade in , a very impressive bass by Chris
Benavente.
I have seen and played Chris' basses at NAMM shows over the years ,
but this is my first chance to spend quality time
with one in the studio. Nice Bass !!
The neck is 35" scale , and unusual in that it is made primarily from
Swiss Pear wood , with a small Maple center piece flanked by Ebony
runners.
The fretboard is Ebony - looks like Gaboon to me.
The body core is Limba, with a gorgeous Macassar Ebony top and back.

The pickups and preamp are proprietary Benavente design.
Add to this a Roland MIDI pickup.
The controls are volume / mag blend / MIDI Volume , 3 band EQ ,
active / passive via a push pull bass control, and 3 band EQ.
The two toggles are for MIDI operation - program advance and a 3
position switch - bass / both / synth.

This bass is about 3 years old but MINT.
