From perhaps the best German bass builders I have come across.
A true custom bass from Gerald Marleaux and Tilmon Anton – two very talented fellows, indeed.
Flamed Maple body
Movingue Frise top and matching headstock.
The entire bass body has an amber tint added – very classy.
The neck is 5 piece, 3 piece Maple with Walnut (?) runners. Ebony fretboard.
The pickups are wood covered. They are most likely Barts, possibly BassTechs. ( I have heard Marleaux basses with both types of pickups and they both are very nice ) The preamp is Marleaux’s proprietary “programmable” preamp.
Here’s how it works – for each of the 3 bands, you can choose and store one of three different frequency points. You can go from bottom shaking reggae to fusion mid-heavy to high frequency metal tones.
Near mint, with a few small non-finish piercing nicks in hidden areas.
( NOTE - I have found it impossible to accurately convey the true color of this bass in my photos – it is kinda golden/yellow/orange - is that clear ? )
