SOLD-Vadim Fretted 5 - This 5 string gave us our first listen to Vadim’s own custom pickups and preamp. Very rich sounding passive pickups covered in wood, matching the neck laminates. The preamp is the standard volume, blend, 3 band EQ setup. The EQ frequency points are well chosen. Very quiet even at extreme settings. The neck is a 35” scale 9 piece masterpiece, primarily Wenge with Paduk and Maple runners. The fretboard is Honduras Rosewood. The body employs a Paduk core with Figured Maple top ( and matching headstock ) , the back is Cherrywood. Gloss finish. Gold Hardware –bridge by Hipshot, tuners by Gotoh.
