The Sequel is a special bass , in my humble opinion.
It is semi acoustic, and you will notice that the pickups are positioned with a bias towards the bridge , yielding a very tight and snappy response.
The pickups are Jerzy's split single coil design, the preamp is the Aguilar OBP-3.
The three toggle switches are
1 ) single/dual pickup operation
2 ) mid frequency select
3 ) active/passive

Controls are volume, 3band Eq, and passive tone, which works in active or passive mode.
This bass has a lot of personality.

The top is 5A Flamed Maple.
The neck is unusual in that it comtains
a natural tinting , due to mineral deposits in the wood.
