We are proud to now offer Watson basses , built by Alex Watson of Idyllwild, California.
This 6 stringer features a 34.5" scale multi-lam neck thru design , with a Gaboon Ebony fretboard.
The body wing cores are Purpleheart , capped front and back by Flamed Maple, tinted to yield a "Tiger Eye" appearance.
The pickups are Nordstrand Big Singles with Purpleheart covers and matching control knobs.
The preamp is the Aguilar OBP-3. This bass is remarkably light ( 9lbs, 2 oz ), easy to play and balances very well.
Sounds HUGE. Players, I know you have probably not yet heard of or played one of Alex' basses.
